Anniversar |
Yesterday was our 4th anniversary. What did we do? We took a day trip to "Acadiana." That is the lower part of Louisiana in "real, bayou, cajun country." Most everything down there was written in English AND French since most TRUE cajuns are bilingual in those two languages. We had so much fun! We toured the Tabasco factory and saw Tabasco hot sauce being made, toured the Jungle Gardens and saw LOTS of alligators, toured the Conriko Rice Mill (oldest operating rice mill in the US), toured Rip Van Winkle gardens and saw 2 peacocks, and ate at a "real Cajun restaurant." It was a blast! Click on the photo box at the top of this post to go to our web album and view more pictures. I labelled the first picture of each group, so you will know when we changed locations. Enjoy!
